The local village bobby's house! An imposing house offering versatile family accommodation in the centre of this popular village, within easy reach of the excellent schools. With a home office, generous garden and ample parking.
This fine individual house lies in the middle of the village but is nicely tucked back from the main street. Originally built for the local policeman in 1957, it offers well-built and spacious accommodation which has been greatly enhanced by a large ground floor extension into the original garage, providing a large kitchen, open plan to the dining room, and with an adjoining utility room.
The sitting room has another small room beyond, ideal for relaxing and watching the birds in the garden, and there is also a home office or potential fourth bedroom on the ground floor.
Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, a family bathroom with white suite and a shower over the bath, and a WC.
On approach to The Old Police House, there is ample parking on the tarmac drive. To the rear, there is a good-sized garden, a paved sitting area and a garden shed Opposite the back door of the house, there is a 'garden room', which our clients use for relaxing with friends, and adds an interesting extra dimension to the living space, from which the garden can be enjoyed.
Services: Mains water, gas and electricity and drainage.
