Holcombe Rogus, home to Holcombe Court, an important Tudor manor and its adjoining church is a very sought after location. It has its own primary school, post office and pub. The village lies within the catchment area for Uffculme School and is also eligible for the local fee tariff at Blundell's Prep and Senior Schools in nearby Tiverton. The nearby Grand Western Canal offers some wonderful walks along the towpath.
