Imagine entertaining in the large kitchen dining room, with it's beautiful slate floor; the slabs so big, it would have taken some effort to get them in place! The kitchen has an electric Aga, a wood burning stove and plenty of space for cooking, eating and relaxing. Great for Sunday lunch, children's activities, evening drinks or The pantry has little sink in the corner and could be converted into a utility area or WC if required.
The views over open fields at the back of the cottage are delightful, not only the perfect place for a barbeque but the garden room which is currently used by the vendor as a working studio. Equally suitable for somewhere to relax and read a book or the Sunday newspaper.
The log burner in the sitting room provides the perfect backdrop for warming up after an afternoon country walk, relaxing and watching a movie with the kids.
From the corner of the kitchen, stairs lead up to the first floor. At the end of the landing is a large double bedroom with built in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room - the 'master bedroom suite'. There are two further bedrooms which are both a comfortable size and a family bathroom with a lovely claw footed roll top bath. Views from the bedrooms are over open fields on either side of the cottage.
At the front of the cottage, there is a parking bay for 2 cars comfortably; a path leads through the front garden to the entrance porch and also through an alley to the rear garden. The garden faces South East and there is a pleasant seating area at the front of the house which takes advantage of the morning and early afternoon sunshine.
