A beautifully presented and surprisingly spacious two bedroom cottage, located in a tucked away position in the popular village of Halberton
This fantastic cottage is tucked neatly away from the main street, away from the road and set back against farmland. The cottage has a light and a surprisingly spacious feel.
The accommodation is entered via a pretty entrance porch which leads into the kitchen/dining room. Having a country feel the kitchen has a good range of storage cupboards and worktop with integral oven, hob and extractor fan. An area is provided for dining table and chairs.
The main living room is a cosy space with a multi fuel stove and a window overlooking the front that allows a decent amount of light in. Stairs from the living room give access to the first floor with its two good size double bedrooms and the family bathroom. A door from the landing also leads out to the elevated rear garden.
The garden wraps the front, side and rear of the property and has a handy area of garden storage, perfect for garden tools and children's toys etc. Steps lead to the side with various borders perfect for planting and then onto a lovely lawn where just recently an impressive summer house/garden office has been installed, fully equipped with power and heating.
A short distance from the cottage along the private drive is a parking area partly bordered by a raised area of garden.
Halberton is a popular village lying about three miles from Tiverton and about two miles from Blundells school. Three miles in the opposite direction lies Junction 27 of the M5 motorway with its adjoining Tiverton Parkway Station.
From Tiverton follow the Halberton signs until you reach the village. Proceed along the main street until you see Orpington Court on the right. Directly opposite is the private driveway into the property. Follow the track around to the left and the property is the last on the right.
