A detached, individual bungalow, occupying a large plot towards the edge of the town, with mature gardens and plenty of parking. Easy access to the town, buses, motorway and rail links.
This classic bungalow was built by the father of our client for his own occupation, some 50 years ago, and occupies a large plot with mature gardens.
On the roof, there is a significant area of photo voltaic (solar) panelling producing electricity for the bungalow and supplying the national grid, for which approximately £250 is paid, per annum.
The spacious accommodation is in good order, having just been redecorated and re-carpeted, yet would benefit from some updating over time, notably the kitchen and bathroom.
On approach, there is a driveway parking and a large front garden and to the rear further garden, which can be enjoyed from the conservatory extension and large paved area, ideal for entertaining.
Cullompton has a range of shops, including an award-winning butcher's, Costa, Tesco, Co-op, Aldi and Home Bargains supermarkets, and a popular coffee shop and wine bar, 'The Bakehouse'. Other amenities include a contemporary health centre, library, community centre, established doctor's surgeries, a veterinary practice, churches, sports clubs, pubs and recreation facilities.
From the town, there is a popular walk through the river meadows, adjoining the River Culm.
Cullompton is ideally placed for commuting, with quick access to Exeter via J28 of the M5 or the B3181 main road through Broadclyst and Pinhoe. There are regular bus services through the town and rail links at Tiverton Parkway and Honiton stations, to Paddington and London Waterloo, respectively.
The 'Falcon' coach service also stops in the town, providing economic travel between Plymouth and Bristol, with stops in between, including Bristol Airport.
