This pretty two bedroom cottage lies at the edge of the little hamlet of Lurley just three miles from Tiverton. The property has been well maintained by the vendors and offers an ample porch and good size sitting room with an inglenook fireplace and inset oil fired cast iron stove; the kitchen has plenty of storage and built in appliances, from here a door opens to the rear and stairs lead up to the first floor. Both bedrooms are good double rooms and there is the benefit of a recently updated bathroom.
At the back of the property is a small court yard catching the afternoon sun with an old outhouse offering useful shed space.
Lurley is a very popular little hamlet, lying as it does about three miles to the west of Tiverton amidst some lovely countryside. In nearby Calverleigh, there is a popular pub, The Rose and Crown and within easy reach is Tiverton with all its convenient facilities only five minutes drive away.
Please see the floor plan for the dimensions. The internal photos have been taken with a wide angle lens to show more of the rooms.
From Tiverton take the old Rackenford road to Calverleigh passing the Rose and Crown pub on the right. Continue for about half a mile until you see the turning for Lurley on the right. As you climb the hill beyond the ford, Lurley House will be seen on the left. Continue up the hill and the property will be seen on the right.
Mains electricity, water and private drainage. Oil fired central heating.
