From Seddons Cullompton office, proceed out of the town towards Exeter, via Broadclyst, on the B3181. After about 1.5 miles, turn left at the Merry Harriers pub and follow the signs to Clyst Hydon. As you reach Clyst Hydon follow the signs to 'The Five Bells' pub. The cottage can be seen on the left just before you reach the pub.
