About Tiverton & the surrounding area
Tiverton is a busy market town with a population of about 20,000 set in the picturesque Exe valley about 10 miles to the north of Exeter.
The town lies on the A361 North Devon Link Road providing fast access to the North Devon coast and also to Junction 27 of the M5 which lies about 7 miles to the east, and adjoining which is Tiverton Parkway station – Paddington in about 2 ½ hours.
Surrounding the town is typical Devon countryside with the Exe Valley running south to Exeter and north to the rugged moors of Exmoor.
