More about Cullompton
Seddons' Cullompton office is located in the High Street of this up and coming town, in which Tesco and Aldi supermarkets, a new health centre, a community centre and a library have been built over the last few years, as well as new businesses opening in the town, including a very popular coffee shop and wine bar opposite our office, ' The Bakehouse'.
All round, Cullompton is a popular small market town with some very attractive surrounding villages and excellent access to Exeter and the motorway network. The town offers a good range of local amenities, primary schools, a secondary school, a sports centre and numerous clubs, regular farmers markets, specialising in local produce and a weekly street and panier market.
With Junction 28 of the M5 lying close by to the east, Cullompton is particularly popular with those commuting to the cathedral city of Exeter, only fifteen minutes drive or Taunton, less than thirty minutes away. The mainline railway stations of Tiverton Parkway and Honiton provide quick access to London (Paddington and Waterloo respectively) and Exeter International Airport is very convenient with a wide range of flights now available. The Blackdown Hills, North and South Devon coastlines and moors of Exmoor and Dartmoor all lie within a moderate car journey and are enjoyed by many living in the Culm Valley area.
