About the Agricultural Department

Our Agricultural department is based at our Tiverton office and specialises in the sale and letting of farms and agricultural land throughout the “Seddons” area.

The department is run by Richard Stagg, an experienced chartered surveyor and auctioneer who has specialised in agricultural work in the West Country for the last sixteen years. Richard is the third generation in his family to work as an auctioneer and surveyor in Tiverton, following both his father John and Grandfather Leslie.

Richard is ably assisted by Nicki Hamilton who when she is not working for Seddons, is a House Mum to some forty boys at Blundells school where her husband is a House Master. The final member of the team is Will Chanter who is of Exmoor farming and sporting stock where he is equally at home in the saddle or behind the wheel of a tractor.
